सम्माननीय अभिभावक महोदय एवं प्रिय विद्यार्थियों ! 12वीं कक्षा के बाद विद्यार्थी अलग-अलग राह चुनते हैं। कई विद्यार्थी मेडिकल, इंजीनियरिंग आदि की तैयारी में लग जाते हैं। अनेक विद्यार्थी 12वीं के बाद डिग्री (बी.एससी. / बी.ए.) की राह पकड़ते हैं। अधिकतर यह देखने को मिलता है कि स्नातक के तीन वर्षों के दौरान विद्यार्थी की मानसिकता बनी रहती है कि स्नातक डिग्री के बाद कॉम्पिटिशन की तैयारी करेंगे। इस कारण सम्पूर्ण स्नातक डिग्री को वह साधारण पढ़ाई में गुजार देते हैं। अनेक विद्यार्थी तो केवल परीक्षा के दिनों में ही पढ़ाई करते हैं। कॉलेजों के उन्मुक्त माहौल में कई विद्यार्थी कॅरियर का मुख्य रास्ता छोड़कर अन्य राहों पर भी चले जाते हैं। जो विद्यार्थी स्नातक की डिग्री के बाद कॉम्पिटिशन की तैयारी में जुटते हैं, वे भारी प्रतिस्पर्धा के युग में वे टिक ही नहीं पाते हैं।
प्रिंस डिफेंस एकेडमी एवं प्रिंस डिग्री कॉलेज, पालवास, सीकर ऐसी संस्था हैं, जहाँ कक्षा 12वीं के बाद डिग्री + डिफेंस कॉम्पिटिशन के पैटर्न पर तैयारी करवाई जाती है। यहां प्रथम वर्ष से ही विद्यार्थी डिफेंस लिखित प्रवेश परीक्षाओं के अनुसार जी.के., रीजनिंग, इंग्लिश, मैथ्स, फीजिक्स आदि विषय पढऩे लग जाते हैं। डिफेंस से रिटायर्ड फिजिकल ट्रेनर्स की देख-रेख में नित्यप्रति फिजिकल की तैयारी भी करवाई जाती है। एयर फोर्स ग्रुप डिस्कशन एवं साइको टेस्ट के लिए अलग बैच बनाकर तैयारी करवाई जाती है। प्रिंस डिफेंस एकेडमी का वातावरण ही ऐसा है कि यहाँ विद्यार्थी के पास पढ़ाई के अलावा कोई विकल्प ही नहीं रहता है। शहर के भीड़-भड़ाके एवं चकाचौंध से दूर यह एकांत एवं ऊर्जावान वातावरण विद्यार्थियों के अनुशासित कॅरियर के लिए मील का पत्थर साबित हो रहा है।
स्थापना के कुछ वर्षों में ही हमारे कई सैकड़ों विद्यार्थी एयरफोर्स, नेवी, पुलिस, आर्मी, एस.एस.सी. आदि में चयनित होकर सरकारी नौकरी कर रहे हैं। मुझे इस बात की खुशी है कि प्रिंस डिफेंस एकेडमी एवं प्रिंस डिग्री कॉलेज के माध्यम से सामान्य परिवारों के बच्चे 17-18 वर्ष की उम्र में ही सरकारी नौकरी लगकर अपने परिवार का सहारा बन रहे हैं। चयनित में से अनेक विद्यार्थी लगभग 35 वर्ष की उम्र में तो डिफेंस सर्विस से रिटायर होकर दूसरी सिविल सर्विस भी ज्वॉइन कर लेते हैं। विद्यार्थियों को डिफेंस सर्विसेज में चयनित करवाने के लिए प्रिंस डिफेंस एकेडमी के प्रयास अनवरत जारी हैं। हम उम्मीद करते हैं कि प्रिंस डिफेंस एकेडमी के माध्यम से भविष्य में भी अनेक विद्यार्थी कम उम्र में ही सरकारी नौकरी प्राप्त करेंगे। विद्यार्थियों के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की शुभकामनाओं के साथ।
